This contest is a perfect blend of ideas and innovation. And, it’s all set to challenge the thinking power of the professionals, so that the talented workforce can churn out innovative ideas. The contest will also make these ideas available to the IT community through an open platform.
Launched on July 9, the contest has already become a hit.
Business ideas, how to achieve a balance between work and life, and an individual’s contribution to the community are the categories for submitting the ideas. The winner of the most innovative idea will take home a prize of Rs 10,000 and the best idea in every category will get Rs 5000 each. Apart from these, there are consolation prizes as well. Shailesh Deshmukh, Director of Unknown Waters, says, “This will bring out many creative and innovative ideas. These would be useful for the IT community, and will also boost innovation in the minds of IT Professionals.” Dr Ulhas Luktuke, a renowned psychiatrist, is the mentor of the contest and the panel of judges consists of Dr Kumar Saptarshi, Dr Shyamala Vanarase and Deepak Shikarpur. The prize distribution ceremony will take place on September 9, between 5 pm and 8 pm, at Patrakar Bhavan, Pune. The contest is organised by Unknown Waters, a Pune-based event management company, with the support of Paranjape Schemes and Bank of Maharashtra.
